All of them can be seen in the information window when you pick up your Chao, with the exception of the grade, which can be seen by visiting the Chao Doctor in the Kindergarten. On the non-Dreamcast games, each stat has four sub-components: grade, level, points, and bar. However the stats still had a ceiling of 999 and did not have any grades or level-up bars like in the modern games! Mechanics The Dreamcast sequel, Sonic Adventure 2, removed HP and added luck, intelligence and stamina. Fruit obtained within Chao Adventure will also restore HP. Each Coconut will increase max HP by 0.4 points. You can replenish and increase your Chao’s health by feeding it Coconuts from the trees in the garden. Health points will also decrease in Chao Adventure during battles with other Chao (if you get hit), but will not die if it reaches zero.

Anything that counts as an attack will harm your Chao - jumping, Amy’s hammer, invincibility, etc. If this reaches zero, your Chao will actually die! If you attack your Chao in the garden, it’s health will decrease. In Sonic Adventure 1 on the Dreamcast, there is no luck, intelligence, or stamina, but Chao have another stat called HP (Health Points)! This stat is your Chao’s life.
